The trek to Mount Everest base camp has become an achievable goal for people from all walks of life wanting a glimpse of the world’s highest mountain. After a flight to Lukla, you begin your trek. Along the way be surrounded by breathtaking scenery and experience the unique Sherpa culture by visiting monasteries and museums. An accent up to Kala Pattar (5545m) for sunrise will deliver an unbeatable view of the south face of Mt Everest along with many other peaks surrounding us. The mix of natural beauty, fascinating culture and a sense of personal achievement, make this trek one the most unforgettable in the world. Our trek has been designed with time for safe acclimatization; this is paramount to any successful trek in this region.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu – L/D
Day 02: City tour covering Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudthnath Stupa & Kathmandu Durbar Square –B/L/D
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2650m): 2-4 hours trek- B/L/D
Day 04: Trek Phakding to Namche (3440m): 6-7 hours trek- B/L/D
Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche (3440m): Today we hike to nearby Everest View Hotel where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Mt. Everest and surrounding mountains – B/L/D
Day 06: Trek Namche to Phortse (3810m): 5 hours trek – B/L/D
Day 07: Trek Phortse to Dingboche (4410m): Will takes about 7 hours – B/L/D
Day 08: Acclimatization day at Dingboche: We hike towards Chukkung valley (Island peak), which helps you to get more acclimatize for higher altitude – B/L/D
Day 09: Trek Dingboche to Dugla (4620m): a short walk to Dugla and in the afternoon goes for acclimatization hike towards Dzongla valley. 3 hours – B/L/D
Day 10: Trek Dugla to Lobuche (4930m): 3 hours trek – B/L/D
Day 11: Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m) and excursion to Everest Base Camp (5380): 6-7 hours – B/L/D
Day 12: Trek Gorakshep to Kalapatthar and trek down to Pheriche (4252m): start our day early in the morning with a plan to get to the top of the Kalapatthar (5545m) before the sunrise, which is one of the finest viewpoints in Khumbu region. 6-7 hours – B/L/D
Day 13: Trek Pheriche to Tengboche (3860m): 4-5 hours – B/L/D
Day 14: Trek Tengboche to Jorsale (2810m): 6-7 hours – B/L/D
Day 15: Trek Jorsale to Lukla (2865m): 4 hours – B/L/D
Day 16 -Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla- B/L/D
Day 17: Buffer day if there is no flight on day 16 we can fly back to day and it will be rest day in Kathmandu – B/L/D Day 18– Departure –B
