? Nek Chand Rock Garden was illegally built in 1957, by Nek Chand Saini, a government official, in his spare time using industrial and home waste. He recycled the material to build his own vision of the divine kingdom of Sukrani. 18 years later, it was found out and was in danger of demolition as it was built on a land conservancy, a forest buffer. Fortunately,he had the public opinion on his side and eventually was given 50 laborers so he could concentrate full-time on his work

Kalka – Shimla Railway (approx. 5 hours 20 minutes) constructed by the British to connect the mountain town Shimla, to the plains by approximately 100 km of railway passing through more than 100 tunnels in 1903. It provides a view of the untamed wilderness of Shimla with dramatic views of the hills and surrounding villages. (Packed lunch will be provided on the train.)

? Qutub Minar was built in 1199 by Qutub-ud-Din. The sultan’s successor and son-in-law, Iltutmish, completed it. The purpose of building is unclear. Some believe that it was built as a tower of victory, signifying the beginning of Muslim rule in India, while others say it served as a minaret to the adjoining mosque.
? Lotus Temple is surrounded by a landscaped garden and is a symbol of peace. This is the Asian headquarters of the Bahai faith, and a circular temple that is open to all.
